First off, I dont see how those possible symptoms are unsafe (except of the possible STDs of course). Im using the contraceptive Implant, and Im loving it so far. Me and my boyfriend both got ourselves tested, so STDs is not an issue. Also, other than the irregular periods, I havent experienced any of the other symptoms (I understand that Im just one case, while others will experience other effects). Id like to talk about my viewpoint, which is what I decided to comment for, although its a controversial subject. What I want people to understand is that people have different viewpoints. Some people are for abortion, others are against it. When I got the implant I was in full understanding about the possibilty of the fertilized egg/ embryo/ baby could die due to the wall being too thin. I still decided to get it, as me and my partner obviously dont want a baby. Im a biology student at university I can't help but to feel as if this post is a bit biased. I still decided to get it as me and my partner obviously dont want a child right now. Im a biology student at university, and Im not saying Im right, but Im saying I have an opinion. I support the idea of abortion, but I hate the thought of going through with it myself. For myself I want to stop the possibilty of pregnancy as soon as I can (prevent ovulation, thick mucus), but if it comes to the point of the fertilized egg (my viewpoint) not being able to attach to the wall, Id still be happy knowing I wont be carrying a baby. I absolutely understand that some people will disagree with this, and I completely respect that. But at the same time, Id like those people to respect that other people will see it the same way I do. The chance of me getting pregnant is so low anyway (i cycle 2x a year), wondering what the pro-life view is.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8636804789534643822.post-2689507889209001682016-03-22T06:52:49.140+08:002016-03-22T06:52:49.140+08:00The embryo hasn't even started developing yet ...The embryo hasn't even started developing yet it is literally a sack of cells. Your body can "kill" this "baby" at this stage without you knowing too. This is gay as fuck. The possible negative side effects are the same as any hormone birth control, and this is a great long lasting option. If you have an "abstinence only" stance on birth control, do not do a review on birth control. Goodness.
